Holiday Party Season, 4 types of events
Dress Code:
Black Tie, Informal, Dressy Casual, and Casual
We will start with the easiest, and work our way up the chain..
Casual, anything goes kind of party, jeans and a t-shirt, to a nice day dress with heels. Remember if it's casual you don't want to be too over dressed or everyone will notice your outfit, and not you stunning presence.
Dressy Casual, normally a little more upscale than the previous party. Heels and a few extra accessories can dress up that casual outfit and make it a great dressy look. Think night on the town with a great date.
Informal, this should be called black tie optional in my opion. Dress with zest when getting ready for an informal event, something that stands out, cocktail dresses, well-fit mens suits, and other dressier styles.
Black Tie, ahh the holy grail on the party scale, no, no, just kidding, but yes the most formal of them all. Black tie events require tuxedos, ties, and long evening gowns.
